Congratulations! homePad Solutions SA has made it into the Top 13 teams that will proceed to the Final Judging next week.

With over 4,200 applicants worldwide this year, reaching the Top 13 of MassChallenge Switzerland is a great achievement!

We would like to highlight the fact that the judges were very impressed by the quality of the projects and the overall improvements made from selection steps to the pre-final judging.

As you may know, 450+ startups applied to join the program in Switzerland this year.  This pool candidates was narrowed down to 70 companies through two rounds of rigorous selection.  For three months, MassChallenge Switzerland has been accelerating those 70 startup finalists that were chosen to join the programme.

In order to stay in line with the Boston Programme and their selection process, and considering that we accelerated only half the number of startups in Switzerland, only the top 13 companies with the highest impact potential were selected to go forward to the finals.

During the final, judges will have the possibility to distribute up to 1M, but they will determine the exact amounts according to the merit of the projects that will be presented.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Participate in the technical design of projects.
Setup unit and integration tests.
Create efficient and reliable code, provide best practice to the team.
Keep up to date with latest technologies.

Technical Skills

3-5 years of technical development experience in, PHP and / or Ruby.
Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with client technologies like JavaScript, AngularJS, and also backend process including database design theory.
Experience with popular open source components and frameworks such as Zend and Rails.

Personal Requirements

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Autonomous worker, able to work independently and intuitive to our needs.
Fluent English and French.

Minimum Requirements

3 years of experience in web development.
3 year of experience in Framework like, Zend, Ruby on Rails, etc.
Good working knowledge in English
